Arrested for causing a huge forest fire, he was sentenced to life imprisonment.

After a few days of imprisonment, a guard comes up to his cell.
"You have a visitor."

To his surprise, it wasn't family or anyone he knew. It was a businesspony-looking mare.

"I've seen you cause quite the trouble."

Firepower replies,"Who are you? And what do you care?"

"Should've introduced myself first. I'm Rose Lucena. I want you to join me in the Iron Pony Fighting Cup."

"Why should I?" Then, Firepower thought for a moment.. Anything to get me out of this dump.

"I know what you're thinking. You'll be granted that freedom provided that you fight for your country. Fillyphines loves a good champion. Besides, nobody died in that flashfire. They can let you off real easy. Just fight. And win."

Without a moment's hesitation, Firepower exclaims "Anything's better than here. I'll do it!!"
