A second chance; a second awakening.

Safewake. Once a name feared, now no longer revered. A cocky unicorn martial artist and knock-out king who has fallen far from his throne as quickly as he ascended.

A gifted unicorn of the fighting arts, he surprisingly outmatched other seasoned ponies in his rookie career. The new-found fame and glory was all so sudden, that he didn't know how to react to it properly. It resulted into Safewake plunging into the vanities and toxicities of the rich and elite: Mares, Salt, Happy Cupcakes, Bit Gambling.

As if a joke has been played on him by fate, he was defeated by a rookie rainbow pegasus who just happened to drop by for a money match. Body and Ego bruised, his career went to a downward spiral.

He lost nearly everything. Mares, Money, Motivation.

He became a pitiable shadow of his former self, and spoke to himself about repentance and how he doesn't know how to start over again.

While trotting down the street, as if by chance, he met an old friend of him. Safewake recognized him, for this person is the one he helped against robbers during his rookie season. This pony now seeks to repay his good deed.

The pony invited him to join the Iron Pony Fighting Cup, promising prestige, glory, and another chance to get back to the pegasus who destroyed him.

Seeing that Safewake knew that he could not go any lower, he did not give this a second thought, especially when his redemption would be the reward.

:)It's so cool, I'm really impressed, the version of this story is very similar to ''Yuri Boyka'' UNDISPUTED 3, you have a great style and I really like the looks.

there is only one detail ... I'm not a fame-hungry madpony or anything, I just fought to try to put out the anger inside me and somehow compensate.

Well, I admit that sometimes I'm sonofamare with my opponents XD, Anyway! great job and thank you very much for taking my request.

Welcome! Glad you liked it.

I tried to make sure it lives up to the extremity of the art I referenced it.

Regarding the story, I didn't reference it from that, but I guess it's a coincidence.

For the story, I think you can accept it as some sort of an "alternate universe" story if you will.

Overall I did love how unique your OC looked, especially around the eyes which I'm dying to question as to how the heck it got to looking like that!

Thanks. The character was brimming with potential.

The original story is a little different in his profile though. I just thought a redemption story would be fitting him.

I'll do what I can to get yours to be this good. Thanks again.
